Damian and Leia Prause are the owners of the Old Time Christmas Tree Farm.
We began selling trees in 1996. We have around 30 acres planted in trees and have thousands of Virginia Pines to choose
from along with Leyland Cypress trees.
The farm has been in Leia's family for over 100 years. Her grandfather, Milton Kleb raised peanuts, cotton, hay and many other things on
the land. Leia's father Wayne Kleb had a dairy farm here and still raises cattle on the farm today.
We have kept the tradition going by raising Christmas trees on the land. Leia's parents, brother, uncle, cousins, Damian, Leia and their
children all still live close to the old homestead.
This area looks a lot different now then it did 100 years ago. Back then it was nothing but open prairie, you could see for miles! The
only trees around were those that were planted around
someone's homestead.
I wonder what my ancestors would say if they could see it
now!
